Erode DMFT

The DMF Trust is responsible for:

Collection of DMFT fund to utilize for the welfare of mine-affected areas and mine-affected people.
Contribution also from other sources.
The implementation of various welfare and developmental projects in mining-affected areas of the district.
Minimizing/mitigating the adverse impacts, during and after mining, on the environment, health, and socio-economic status of the people in mining areas of the District.
Ensuring long-term sustainable livelihood for the affected people in mining areas.

Receive, maintain, manage, release, and utilize the funds accrued.
Plan, identify, design, and undertake suitable welfare and developmental projects, following due procedure.
Monitor and coordinate with various executing agencies at the field level for the successful implementation of projects taken up under DMFT.
Ensure convergence with ongoing/existing schemes/projects of State and Central Government.
Identify and promote innovative solutions.
Ensure regular and swift redressal of grievances.
Coordinate with different State-level and District-level agencies and departments to ensure the timely and efficient implementation of the projects.
